Hi Everyone :)

Walking the Lycean Way in April 2010.

I'm having difficulty getting a flight to Dalaman, around 27/28 March 2010, from the UK. Can anyone make a suggestion for hub or airline?
Thanks

Well, is going to be busy and expensive as it's so close to Easter.

Have a look for flights at Skyscanner

KayaKoyuWalker,

Thanks for replying. I'll give Skyscanner a try.

I've been reading your previous posts and have found them very helpful.

My plan is to fly to Dalaman but if I'm unable to do this I will fly to either Istanbul or Antalya and make my way to the start of the walk.

Thanks again, Goldilocks

I think in the long-run you'd be better off trying to get a direct flight into Dalaman.

What you gain financially by flying into either Istanbul or Antalya, you'll lose by the extra cost of travel to Dalaman or Fethiye and, of course, the time spent travelling.

I've just had a quick look at flights from the UK for the dates you mentioned. They're available from Gatwick and East Midlands to Dalaman for around £120 one-way. I don't think you'll get any at much less than that.

Thanks KKW, I'll let you know when I get a flight. 8) I think you're right about the cost and the traveling.

KKW, Managed to get flight to DLM from Edinburgh for around £100. Thanks again for your help. Start the walk 23 March, 2010
